Enterprise Club
A new Enterprise Club, where budding entrepreneurs can get business support and advice and build local contacts is being launched in Swansea
The Swansea Enterprise Club will give people who want to set up their own businesses the chance to share experiences and access professional advice and funding that they might not otherwise be able to afford. The Club will also assist those people who have just started their own small business.
The Swansea Enterprise Club is a joint venture between The Job Centre and Business Sense in Llansamlet. It is primarily aimed at people who are in receipt of benefit for 6 months or more. To apply to join, people should ask at their local Job Centre to be referred onto the Enterprise Club at The Business Centre in Llansamlet. Anyone not on benefits or working etc should ring The Business Centre direct on 01792 310110.
Sheran Grey of Business Sense at The Business Centre in Llansamlet, who set up the Swansea Enterprise Club said: “New businesses represent the future of our economy, so we need to make sure that anybody with a good idea get the support they need to move into self-employment as easily as possible”.
The Enterprise Club is open Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm and everyone is seen on an appointment basis for a one to one meeting with a business consultant. Other experts are also on hand for appointments to help with Marketing, Web Design, Leaflets, Business Cards and training for accounts preparation, taking on staff, forming a ltd company etc
